Message Review
Mental health is not a static, meaning you can be healthy for a long time then something circumstantial changes and your mental wellbeing is under attack. We will all deal with mental health issues at some point in our life. A root cause of for so many of our mental health struggles is thoughts and feelings of hopelessness. Thoughts of despair characterized by a belief that things will never get better will get us all at point and time. As followers of Christ, we must trust in the certainty that God will fulfill all his promises in His time and way. We do this by starting our day with hope, worshipping until hope find us and by being still and knowing hope. When we do this, we can rest in the promises of God.
Main Point | The quality of your mental health is determined by hope and hope lives and dies in the mind.

Pastor Matt said “Your mental health is not a barometer of your faith in God”. Why is this saying reassuring?
Read Lamentations 3:21-25 & 2 Corinthians 1: 8-10. What did Jeremiah and Paul rest in for their hope? What can we take from this in helping us find hope?
Three ways to find and protect your hope are:
Start your day with Hope
Worship until hope find you
Be Still and Know hope

Read Romans 15:13. What words or phrases stick out to you regarding your hope as you go into this week?

Application
This week start each of your days with hope by spending time in the Word. Spend time focusing on the anchor of our hope Jesus. Worship Him and then Be Still and know Him.
Verse to Remember: Romans 15:13 13 May the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace as you trust in him, so that you may overflow with hope by the power of the Holy Spirit.
