Message Review
On Sunday we kicked off our annual Be Rich initiative. According to Paul in 1 Timothy 6:17-18, the way to be rich is to give generously, serve sacrificially, and love extravagantly. This past Sunday we kicked off the Be Rich series by talking about the first way to be rich: Giving generously. We discovered that generosity impacts our trust in God growing or eroding more than we can possibly imagine.
Main Point: Giving generously proves our trust in God, grows our trust in God, and transfers our trust from our riches to the One who richly provides
Scripture References: 1 Timothy 6:17-18; Proverbs 18:11; Ecclesiastes 5:10; Matthew 6:24
