Message Review

We are in a battle daily, so we must daily prepare for battle. One of the ways we daily prepare to stand firm in this battle is arming ourselves with the shield of faith which can extinguish the fiery darts of the evil one. Satan wants you to feel guilty, experience regret and remorse through accusations. The Holy Spirit convicts to Draw you to the presence of God to experience grace. When we protect ourselves with the shield of faith, we can block the accusations that Satan sends our way. When we stand on the promises of God we can shield ourselves from the fiery darts from Satan.

Main Point | You take up the shield of faith by taking hold of the promises of God.

Scripture References | Revelation 12:10; Zechariah 3:1-7; 2 Corinthians 10:3-5; Ephesians 6:13-16

Application

Also spend time listening to the Holy Spirit and the convictions that are being placed on your heart and then take next steps to confess your sin and experience grace from God.

Verse to Remember:

Ephesians 6:13-16 - 13 Therefore put on the full armor of God, so that when the day of evil comes, you may be able to stand your ground, and after you have done everything, to stand. 14 Stand firm then, with the belt of truth buckled around your waist, with the breastplate of righteousness in place, 15 and with your feet fitted with the readiness that comes from the gospel of peace. 16 In addition to all this, take up the shield of faith, with which you can extinguish all the flaming arrows of the evil one.
