Message Review
“What must I do to be saved?” Protestants and Catholics have answered this differently which has created a lot of confusion, division, fear, and different views of God. Who’s right? Is there a checklist?
Main Point | We are saved by grace through faith alone
Scripture References | Ephesians 2:1-9
Challenge Question | What would change in you, your faith, or how you relate to God IF it’s true that you are saved by grace through faith in Jesus alone?
Questions

What does it mean that you were dead in your transgressions and sins?
What does it mean to gratify the cravings of our flesh?
What does it mean to be deserving of wrath and have you ever feared this wrath?
Read Romans 3:23. Pastor Ronnie said that sin is such a violation against God that it breaks relationship with Him. What is sin and how does sin break our relationship with God?

In Ephesians 2:8-9, Paul says that it is by grace that we are saved through faith, and not by works. Is there anything you must do to earn salvation? How have you found yourself trying to earn salvation?
Most people respond to the idea of being saved by grace through faith alone with, “But what about…” What’s your “But what about…?”
