We all want to make a difference in the world, but where do we start? It’s a big world with a lot of needs, and there’s no shortage of opportunities. How do we know if we’re making an impact? As a church, we’re working together to transform a specific part of the world and you’re invited to be a part of it.
Main Point | Together, we can help the Karen people be transformed.
Scripture References | Matthew 28:18-20; Acts 1:8
Challenge Question | How can you engage to help impact the Karen people?
Questions
Sunday was Global Impact Sunday at Relevant Community Church. We were blessed to be joined by one of our strategic partners, Ray and Candace Ward, founders of Outpour Ministries located on the Thailand/Burma border. They shared some of what God has been and is doing over there through their ministry.
What caught your attention on Sunday regarding the ministry on the Thai/Burma border?
At the end of Pastor Ronnie’s interview with them, he invited everyone to engage in three ways:
Pray fervently. For the Wards, Outpour Movement, the church planters in Burma, the Karen people, for peace and the Karen orphans at the refuge and Safe Haven Orphanage.
Give Generously. Weekly and monthly at Relevant and to begin preparing for our Annual Be Rich Offering in November. 100 percent of everything given during our Be Rich offering will go right back out to our strategic partners.
Join the Global Impact Team and serve sacrificially, by getting involved in helping impact the Karen people in Omaha. Contact cory@relevantcommunity.org for more information.
