About the Group
In this group, we will be working through different studies to help grow our faith. Our first study is 11 weeks as we deep dive into the book of Isaiah, comparing the Israelites and New Testament believers. Beth Moore will help us identify spiritual bondages and how we can find freedom. We’ll be using the workbook that accompanies this study. Please ensure the workbook is the UPDATES VERSION and have it purchased before September 3rd. (You can purchase it on Amazon. ) If you cannot purchase the book, still sign up, and a book will be provided for you.
About the Leader
I'm an empty nester and loving life with my hubby of 30 years. After 24 years as an Air Force family, God brought us to Omaha and, for me, home. I grew up in the church where my father was the pastor. I put my faith in Jesus as the forgiver of my sins and leader of my life when I was young and was baptized quickly after. Unfortunately, at the age of 13, something horrific happened, and I turned my back on Jesus. At age 21, God called me back to him, and I'm so thankful He did. Through my walk, there has been healing, finding joy through sorrow, learning who I am in Christ, and being the woman He has created me to be. I enjoy watching British TV shows, spending time with my daughter, and catching up with friends.
What happens next if I join the group?
Once you register for the group (by clicking the “Join Group” button below), you will receive a confirmation email informing you that we received your registration. In the next few days, your new group leader will reach out with preliminary details about the location, time, and first group meeting.
At the first group meeting, you’ll get to know others in your group and hear more about what to expect moving forward. If you decide the group is a good fit for you, great! If not, you can discreetly let the group leader know, and we’ll help you find a different group.
After a few months of being in the group, you’ll have the opportunity to reevaluate if the group is a good fit for you and either continue with the group or step out of the group if desired. So by joining a group, you’re not making a long-term commitment.
