About the Group
If you are looking to strengthen your sense of community and want to be a part of a dependable group that feels like close family and fun friends, look no further. Here you will be encouraged to be yourself and speak what is on your heart. Create intentional relationships with others you can lean on, and no matter where you are in your spiritual journey, there will be something for everyone when we gather. We will discuss the sermon series and dive deeper into the scriptures that are referenced in them. Eating, praying, and doing life and church together will be our focus. Need some prayer and faith-focused friends? We're here for you. We meet on Thursdays in my home and will attend Encounter together at church on Thursdays when that takes place.
About the Leader
I am in my early 40s, but young at heart. I found my dream job at 40 and started to truly realize God's purpose for me after hitting rock bottom and making the decision to give everything to God. A proud father of two amazing boys, I have several years of experience with the peaks and valleys of married life, divorce, co-parenting, and all of the things that accompany it. In our house, we pray hard and play hard all while keeping gratitude, joy, and focused time with God in our minds and on our hearts. My goal is to help others realize that growth, transformation, and peace are attainable because God has a plan for all of us and I want to help our group discover and embrace what God is doing in all of our lives!
What happens next if I join the group?
Once you register for the group (by clicking the “Join Group” button below), you will receive a confirmation email letting you know that we received your registration. In the next couple of days, your new group leader will reach out with some preliminary details about the location, time, and first group meeting.
At the first group meeting you’ll get to know others in your group and hear more about what to expect moving forward. If you decide the group is a good fit for you, great! If not, you can discretely let the group leader know and we’ll help you find a different group.
After a few months of being in the group you’ll have the opportunity to reevaluate if the group is a good fit for you and either continue with the group or step out of the group if desired. So by joining a group, you’re not making a long-term commitment.
