About the Group
This group consists of men and women from a variety of ages and phases of life. We kick off each Monday night enjoying a meal together and catching up with one another. During the second half of the evening we offer encouragement to one another through discussing and praying about what next steps we can take based on what we're learning from the Sunday morning sermons. If you're interested in learning and growing alongside people of all ages and phases, we'd love to have you join us!
About the Leaders
We both grew up believing in God and being part of small town churches in Iowa, but didn't understand what it meant to grow in a relationship with Jesus until we became part of a local church in 2015. We moved from Iowa to Omaha in 2011, then had our first baby and started our gym business in March of 2014. Due to the trials of starting a new business and being first-time parents, we were having a hard time facing it alone. We desired to become part of a church. It was at this church we both put our faith in Jesus and were baptized. We came across Relevant in 2018 after moving to Elkhorn. Three different people had recommended we check it out, and we haven't looked back since. We have been part of a T-Life group since 2018 and both of us serve in Guest Services on Sunday mornings.
What happens next if I join the group?
Once you register for the group (by clicking the “Join Group” button below), you will receive a confirmation email letting you know that we received your registration. In the next couple of days, your new group leader will reach out with some preliminary details about the location, time, and first group meeting.
At the first group meeting you’ll get to know others in your group and hear more about what to expect moving forward. If you decide the group is a good fit for you, great! If not, you can discretely let the group leader know and we’ll help you find a different group.
After a few months of being in the group you’ll have the opportunity to reevaluate if the group is a good fit for you and either continue with the group or step out of the group if desired. So by joining a group, you’re not making a long-term commitment.
