Arbor View Elementary Project (FULL)

What: Deep Cleaning Classrooms
When: 9:00am-11:00am
Where: Elkhorn, NE

Project Details: Youth United (high school) students will be serving Arbor View Elementary staff and students by cleaning classroom tables/desks throughout the school as well as trash around the outside of the building. **This project is just for high school students and leaders.

Blue Sage Elementary Project (YU ONLY)

What: Deep Cleaning Classrooms
When: 9:00-11:00am
Where: Elkhorn, NE

Camp Rivercrest Project

What: Processing and stacking firewood for Campers
When: 9:00am-12:00pm
Where: Camp Rivercrest in Fremont 

Project Details: Volunteers will be helping process and stack firewood for winter campers. Bring gloves and a chainsaw if you have one and wear clothes that can get dirty.

COPE Project (Full)

What: Organize donations at COPE’s donation center
When: 9:30-11:30am
Where: Elkhorn, NE

Project Details: Volunteers will help sort clothing and food donations to get the donation center at COPE (Christian Outreach Program of Elkhorn) organized to better serve those in need in the Elkhorn area.

Elkhorn Schools Landscape & Grounds Project (Full)
(Westridge Elementary & Elkhorn Middle)

What: Cleaning the grounds at Elkhorn schools
When: 9:00-11:00am
Where: Elkhorn, NE

Project Details: Volunteers will be serving the Elkhorn Public Schools staff by cleaning the grounds and some light landscaping projects at some of Relevant’s adopted schools: Starting at Westridge Elementary and Elkhorn Middle School.

Fresh Hope Project (FULL)

What: Deep Cleaning, Moving Furniture and Painting
When: Two, 2-hour shifts, 8:00-10:00am & 10:00am-12:00pm
Where: Elkhorn, NE

Project Details: We will be serving our partner, Fresh Hope, in transforming their coffeehouse from the old Fala’s Treasures & Coffee to a new coffeehouse called Uptown Java. Tasks will include deep cleaning, moving furniture and painting. Wear clothes that can get dirty.

The Furniture Project (FULL)
(Must be at least 16 y/o)

What: Organizing, Cleaning and Delivering Furniture
When: 10:00am-12:00pm
Where: Elkhorn, NE

Project Details: Volunteers will serve at The Furniture Project warehouse helping them organize and clean donated furniture and household items. We will have a few teams of volunteers help load and deliver furniture to Karen Families. Please bring work gloves and wear clothes that can get dirty.

Hillrise Elementary Project (FULL)

What: Deep Cleaning Classrooms

Project Details: Volunteers will be serving Hillrise Elementary staff and students by cleaning classroom tables/desks throughout the school as well as trash around the outside of the building.

Karen Home Outdoor Cleanup and Repairs (FULL)

What: Outdoor clean-up and small repairs
When: 9:00am-11:00am
Where: Omaha, NE

Project Details: Volunteers will help a single Karen mother with some outdoor clean up and small repairs. Clean-up will include cleaning gutters, landscaping, volunteer trees along fence line, replace small mailbox by front door and peephole on front door.

King Lake Project

What: Clearing trees, cutting and delivering firewood
When: 8:30am-12:00pm
Where: Valley, NE

Project Details: We will be partnering with Omaha Rapid Response to serve families in the King Lake area. Volunteers will help with different projects such as clearing trees, cutting firewood and delivering to families that use it to heat their homes in the winter. Bring gloves and wear clothing that can get dirty. Lunch will be provided by Omaha Rapid Response.

Manchester Landscape Project (Full)

What: Mulch and add Plants to Landscaping at Manchester Elementary
When: 9:00am-11:00am
Where: Elkhorn, NE

Project Details: Volunteers will be serving the Manchester staff/students by cleaning up the front landscaping and adding mulch and plants. Please wear clothes that can get dirty.
