Arrival Time: Next Steps Rally begins 30 minutes before each gathering.
Seating: Reserved seats are available for Next Steps team members and their families against the auditorium's back wall and on the side booth's sides.
To ensure you have a place to sit during the gathering, place an item (i.e., jacket, bible, etc.) on your seats in the auditorium immediately following the Next Steps team rally.
Attire: You are free to wear any appropriate clothing for gatherings, including any clothing related to Next Steps.
Responsibilities while Serving:
Remain in your designated area during your scheduled time.
Be outward-facing and in front of the tables to welcome people as they walk by, ensuring new guests feel comfortable approaching the area.
Keep all friends and family not serving out of the Next Steps area so people wanting to take Next Steps don’t feel like the area is overcrowded.
If you choose to stay in the foyer during the gathering, please allow guests to use the seating if the auditorium is packed. Also, if you are in the foyer, please keep your voices down so guests can focus on the message.
Set-Up:
Retrieve iPads, keyboards, and stands from the back cabinet in the office under the TV.
Ensure iPads and keyboards are fully charged before taking them to the Next Steps Areas.

Understanding the Bible (Begins February 25th)
6-week group helping you understand what the Bible is and how to use it.
Too many people are confused by the Bible because they start reading the Bible without first understanding what it is or how to use it. In this 6-week class, we’ll walk you through an overview of the Bible so that you’ll have a better understanding of not only key events and characters but how everything fits together. Then, you’ll discover an approach to reading the Bible that will help you better know God and better apply His life-giving truths. Together, we’ll talk through and practice basic steps in learning to properly understand Scripture, and you’ll come out with a fuller understanding of what we believe to be God’s Word to us.
This class meets weekly on Tuesday nights for 6 weeks starting Feb. 25.
Four Key Next Steps:
#1 Serving on a Team: Experience God using you to make a difference. (Next Engagement March 2025)
Life is busy and it’s tough to make time for serving others. Serving on a Team at Relevant is like making an appointment with selflessness. Plus, you get to know other people. We have over 25 different teams to serve on at Relevant, so there will surely be a team that fits your interests, schedule, and capacity.
To help you find the right fit, we do an event called Team Link three times a year. It’s a short 30-60-minute event where you can learn about different teams, talk to leaders, and (if you’d like) join a team. It’s like a job fair or college fair, and there’s no pressure to join a team at Team Link. Our next Team Link is coming up on Sunday, December 8th at 2:00 pm. You can register here or just show up!
#2 RELEVANT 101: Learn about Relevance and how to follow Jesus. (Next Engagement is June 2025)
5-week course that aims to help you learn everything you need to know about your church, understand more about God, and gain insight on how to follow Jesus. During the course, you will comprehend why Relevant emphasizes the importance of continually building a relationship with Jesus, developing authentic connections within the church, and impacting the world around you. Additionally, you will learn about Relevant's affiliations and its organizational structure, which revolves around the three areas mentioned above, known as a t-life or a transformed life. Finally, you will have a week where Ronnie will join you, and you can ask any question you have about Relevant or anything else.
#3 T-Life Group: Join a small group of people pursuing Jesus together. (Next Engagement May 2025)
T-Life Groups are small groups of people who pursue Jesus together. They provide the potential for meaningful relationships to form and flourish. My wife and I lead a T-Life Group, one of my favorite things in life. We have groups for men, women, couples, college students, and general groups for everyone. They’re for everyone, regardless of where you are in life or on your spiritual journey.
#4 Giving Generously: God uses our generosity to generate transformation in and through us.
If you've attended several Sunday gatherings, you've probably heard one of our pastors speak about the importance of generosity and its impact on both our church and our hearts. Our generosity helps loosen the grip that money has on our hearts and enables our church's God-given mission.
