A night of extended worship and communion

Encounter is a refreshing evening where you’ll be empowered to connect with God on a deeper level through extended worship, communion, and prayer. Encounter happens in-person and online three times a year: once in the summer, fall, and spring. No matter where you are on your spiritual journey, you are invited to these powerful nights. There is no childcare at Encounter, but children are welcome.

Upcoming Encounter Dates

Thursday, April 11 from 7:00-8:00pm (with guest speaker Tim Bohlke and worship leader Bryan Olesen from NBC’s “The Voice.”)

What is Communion?

Communion is something we do to remember Jesus’ sacrifice for us. It's something Jesus actually did with His disciples before His death. We eat something to symbolize Jesus' body broken for us, and drink something to symbolize Jesus' blood shed for us. For those joining us in-person, we will have communion elements for you. If you’re watching from home, you can use bread and juice, crackers and water, or any food and drink from your own home. You are NOT required to take communion as part of Encounter.

How to Watch Encounter
