Update Note from Tasanee

Here is a note we received from Tasanee…

To all of Relevant Community Church,

I want to thank you for your love, integrity, and kindness. I really appreciate what you have been doing in supporting and helping Safe Haven Orphanage for many years. I am really proud of you because you are doing many good things for the children and our future. You have my attention and gratitude. I want to show my great appreciation to my Relevant Community Church friends. As you love me and support me, I promise that I will do my best here as I can.

Because of you, Safe Haven Orphanage can continue to serve at-risk children and provide them a loving, nurturing, healthy, and safe place. Safe Haven is so lucky to have you as a donor. Your generous gifts continue to help support Safe Haven Orphanage and to help outside children and families in our area who are really in need of help. Your partnership with and commitment to Safe Haven Orphanage provides so much for the children, including an opportunity for higher education with dignity and grace.

Your support is helping us make it possible for the children to lead happy and fruitful lives. Your donations help with our building projects and maintenance as well, including being able to rebuild the stage that was deteriorating. We’ll be working hard to finish so we can use the stage for our Christmas party time.

On November 22, 2017, I received a call from local authorities, saying they had a family with four kids whose mother committed suicide. Because the father drinks heavily and doesn’t work, the government encouraged the children’s father to put the youngest two children at Safe Haven because he could not adequately care for all of his children.

These two new children arrived and after only one night, I had to send one to the hospital for 4 days for breathing problems. Then, I got sick with an infection and had to be on 3 days of IV medications. I have been tired for a little bit after being sick and needing rest, but then having to take Sunday and the new baby to Mae Sot to the hospital shortly after I was sick, because they were having asthma problems. I have been busy with some of the children being sick and many meetings and trainings for the foster house registration process.

I wish you all good health and happiness and that Christmas will be a big blessing to all of you.

1 Corinthians 2:12 “Now we have received, not the spirit of the world, but the spirit who is from God, that we might know the things that have been freely give to us by God.

May God bless you always.

Kind Regards,

Prayer Requests
Pray for…

  • The children at Safe Haven, for their health, safety, protection, growth, and futures.
  • Tasanee, as she has been sick and tired. Pray for renewed strength each day, rest, perseverance, and for her physical and spiritual protection.
  • The foster house registration process that Tasanee and Safe Haven are in the midst of, in order to help provide care for more children.
  • A special Christmas celebration for Tasanee and all of the children at Safe Haven. Praise God for the new stage they’ve been able to build for part of the Christmas party. Pray that all of the children will put their faith in Jesus and grow in relationship with Jesus during this season.

Isaiah 9:6 For to us a child is born, to us a son is given, and the government will be on his shoulders. And he will be called Wonderful Counselor, Mighty God, Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace.
